Twenty years ago, Malta House of Care began as a small, community-driven response to a growing healthcare need. Today, it stands as a trusted lifeline for thousands of uninsured adults across Greater Hartford, having provided more than 88,000 free patient visits over the past two decades.
This milestone anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate how far we’ve come—and the volunteers, healthcare professionals, donors, sponsors, community partners, Board members, staff, and supporters who have made it all possible.
On September 24, 2026, more than 200 guests came together at Infinity Hall in Hartford for Malta House of Care’s 20th Anniversary Celebration—and what a night it was! Guests enjoyed delicious food, our signature “20 Years of Soul” cocktail, the debut of a special anniversary video, and the chance to reconnect with longtime friends and make new ones. With live music from Band Central, the dance floor stayed busy throughout the evening—even inspiring an unforgettable conga line!
The generosity in the room was just as extraordinary. During our Paddle Raise, guests contributed an incredible $65,000, surpassing our $50,000 goal and successfully unlocking an additional $50,000 matching gift from a generous donor.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who made the celebration possible and to all those who have been part of Malta’s story over the past two decades. Together, grounded in the belief that healthcare is a right, not a privilege, we have built a legacy of compassionate care, dignity, and hope.
