Save the Date! On Thursday, May 16, 2024, Malta House of Care will celebrate this year’s Wonder Women class at the Celebrating Wonder Women ’24 awards ceremony and fundraiser at The Bushnell from 5:30-8:30pm. All proceeds will support the work of the Malta House of Care – providing free comprehensive primary health care for uninsured adults in the Greater Hartford area.

Since 2011, Malta House of Care has hosted the popular “Wonder Women” awards ceremony and fundraiser, for two reasons:

  • To honor extraordinary Connecticut women who are improving their communities in extraordinary ways, often out of the public eye, and
  • To raise funds for our medical clinic, where we provide free primary care for uninsured adults (over 75,000 patient visits since 2006!).

We celebrate a diverse collection of women – students, doctors, executives, musicians, educators, advocates, scientists, artists, nurses, lawyers, swim instructors, dancers, grandmothers, and more. Learn more about past Wonder Women honorees and view our complete list.
